Distribution Transformers

Dağıtım Transformatörleri

Hermetic Type Distribution Transformers

Product Range:
Power : In all powers between 10 kVA and 3150 kVA
Voltage : At all voltage levels up to 36 kV
Number of Phases : 1 phase or 3 phase
Tape : With no-load and/or on-load tap changer
Cooling : ONAN or ONAF
Use : Internal or External areas
Loss : Optional according to customer needs
Conductor : Aluminum or copper
Terminal : Porcelain insulator, Plug-in

Technical Specifications:
Hermetic transformers are designed as completely closed to the atmosphere. The internal pressure of the transformer is adjusted during oil pumping using special equipment. While the transformer is under load, it tolerates the volume expansion in the heated oil due to thermic effects, through the boiler in the wave wall structure, which has an elastic structure and also fulfills the cooling function. In order to ensure that the transformer is completely filled with oil and no air remains, oil compression is carried out in special vacuum chambers. The core and coil structure is the same as the transformer with expansion tank.

Usage Advantages:

• Since Hermetic Transformers are closed to the atmosphere, the insulation oil does not come into contact with oxygen and the insulation deterioration caused by oxidation is eliminated.
• Hermetic Transformers have a long life in terms of insulation; and therefore the service life of the transformer is extended.
• Hermetic Transformers do not require periodic maintenance other than cleaning under normal conditions and use.
• Since there is no expansion tank in Hermetic Transformers, its height decreases in terms of dimensions. This provides an advantage in substations where height is a problem.

Disadvantage over other types:
• The possibility of on-site intervention, maintenance and repair is low in Hermetic Transformers. In every case where the hermetic pressure adjustment is or will be impaired, it requires hermetic pressure adjustment with the necessary equipment under vacuum again.

Distribution Transformers with Expansion Tank

Product Range :
Power : In all powers between 10 kVA and 3150 kVA
Voltage: At all voltage levels up to 36 kV
Number of Phases: 1 phase or 3 phase
Tape : With no-load and/or on-load tap changer
Cooling : ONAN or ONAF
Usage : In Internal or External areas
Loss : Optional according to customer needs
Conductor : Aluminum or copper
Terminal : With porcelain insulator, Plug-in

Technical Specifications:
Expansion Tank Transformers are designed to be open to the atmosphere. It does not require any pressure adjustment. Only insulating oil level adjustment is required. The expansion tank tolerates the expansion of the insulating oil by expelling and withdrawing the air space inside it to the atmosphere. The expansion tank is designed according to the maximum expansion of the insulation oil and while filling, the level is adjusted according to this expansion amount. Air exchange against humidification; It takes place via an air dryer that absorbs moisture and is replaced when humid.

Use Advantages:
• Under no circumstances will a dangerous pressure occur inside the Expansion Tank Transformers. Therefore, there will be no pressure problems at overload.
• In Transformers with Expansion Tanks, the deformation in the metal will be less since there is no expansion.
• Transformers with Expansion Tanks have a more suitable structure for on-site maintenance/repair.

Disadvantage Compared to Other Types:

• Expansion Tank Transformers have elements and elements that require periodic control, testing, replacement and maintenance.
